Discover Your Family

We all need to know where we came from. By growing your family tree, the stories and experiences of your ancestors come to life again and you'll find you're part of a vibrant history. My role as a genealogist is to grow that tree for you. As I work, your family becomes my family. Each part of your tree matters, from the most fruitful branch to the very last leaf.

About the Genealogist

Hello! I'm Elyse Ross and I live in Warren County, New Jersey. My area specialty is the Mid-Atlantic, though I have experience researching within all U.S. states, Italy, Germany, Ireland, and England. Working as a genealogist for over twenty years, I've seen our tools change from printed paper forms to complex DNA matching. I stay up-to-date on the most recent technology and newly available resources.

Teaching about genealogy is one of my greatest passions. I enjoy giving complimentary presentations to community groups who are interested in learning more about researching their own family trees. Contact me if you're interested in having me visit your group!

I have bachelor's degrees in both history and political science as well as years of experience in the business world. Most of all, I have a passion for families and am truly excited to learn more about yours!

Member of the APG, NYG&B Society, GSNJ, NGS, and ISOGG.

"Elyse was invaluable in finding the answers to a question that had lingered for decades - who were the birth parents of my adopted grandfather? She took on this important project with a passion that was evidenced by her careful and meticulous work. When the answers were uncovered, she delivered her findings very clearly and with a personal touch that paid due respect to a story that had gone untold for nearly 100 years.
Thank you Elyse!"
